The
Antioch College amphitheater and golf course came alive
under glowing stage lights last weekend for the 12th annual
AACW Blues and Jazz Fest. The event included performances
from Yellow Springs native Ann Rabson of the nationally
known Uppity Blues Women and the Nigerian jazz ensemble
5YZ Men. Pictured are, top from left, Nicki Scott and Nick
Sonye of the Inner City Blues Band during their Friday night
set; Mike Roberts of Inner City Blues Band; and Rabson,
now of Washington, D.C. Shown left to right at bottom, Zoey
Adams of Urbana made music on a percussive wooden frog and
Lawrence McCray and Taylor Reed of Yellow Springs bargained
with a vendor for chicken on a stick.
