OBITUARIES
Robert Womacks
Robert B. “Bob” Womacks of Yellow
Springs died Saturday morning Jan. 10, in his home. He was 85.
He was born Jan. 31, 1923, in Jefferson Township, Ohio, a
son of Amzie Byron and Mary Jane (Rowell) Womacks. Bob was a veteran of
the United States Army, having served during World War II, and was formerly
employed by Ohio Bell Telephone Company.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; brothers,
Gayle, Olie, Gene and Walter, and a sister Bessie
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Virda
(Oliver) Womacks; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Paula Womacks of
Yellow Springs; sisters, Pauline Clark of Xenia and Marjorie Said of Arizona;
and several nieces and nephews.
Following Bob’s request, services will be held
at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to
the Rader-Lynch and Dodds Funeral Home, London, Ohio.
Ronald Castle
Ronald (Ronnie) G. Castle of Springfield died
unexpectedly Tuesday, Jan. 13. He was 45.
He was born Aug. 19, 1964, in Springfield, Ohio, son
of Darrell and Judith Castle. Ronald was a graduate of Springfield South
High School and employed by Dayton Freight.
Ronald is survived by his son, Zachary Castle of Yellow
Springs; daughter, Tawnee Chadwell of Springfield; as well as, a large
close family of many brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
A service will be scheduled at the family’s convenience.
