Having a ball
Hard at work preparing for their new season to start, members of the Yellow Springs High School basketball teams are benefitting from two new pieces of practice equipment that may help produce some winners. The “gun”, left, is a ball hopper and server that helps players with shooting fundamentals, and the “dominator” sharpens boxing and rebounding skills, shown here with Raphael Allen. The equipment was purchased with donations from the Yellow Springs Community Foundation, the Miami Valley Warriors (a semi-professional football team that uses the YSHS field) and local resident Naomi Orme.
