The annual Fourth of July parade went on as scheduled Friday afternoon,
dodging rain storms and giving pleasure to an appreciative crowd of onlookers.
Parade participants included, above, exuberant members of a slow-pitch
baseball team who rode in the back of a truck and, below, Eliza Gilchrist
found the emergency vehicle sirens a bit much.

Above, Jindalee Epley and her mom, Tama
Caruthers, waved to the paraders and, below,
Lillian Hudson, walked her dog in the parade.
