OBITUARIES

Betty M. Gossett
Betty M. Gossett of Yellow Springs died Friday, May 30, at Miami Valley Hospital, after an unexpected illness. She was 63.

She was born Dec. 31, 1944, in Hillsboro, Ohio, daughter of the late Harry Sylvester and Marie (Glasscock) Emery.

Betty was employed by Eastco and also worked for St. Joseph’s Home for Children for over 20 years in social work/training. Her favorite hobby was fishing in Canada and she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Sheree Gossett-Johnson and husband, Lyndon, of Hilliard, and John H. Gossett III and wife, Holly, of Centerville; four grandchildren, Tarah and Nicole Gossett, of Hilliard, and Kaitlin and John A. Gossett, III, of Centerville; and one beloved great-grandson, Brenden Kindler, of Westerville.

A memorial service will be held at the Glen Helen auditorium, 405 Corry Street, in Yellow Springs, on June 8, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until the time of service.

Beverly Bergman
Beverly J. Bergman of Yellow Springs died Friday, May 30. She was 64.
She was born Aug. 8, 1943, in Dayton, the daughter of the late Leo and Jean (Turner) Bergman.

Beverly is survived by a sister, Carolyn Howard of Fairborn; a nephew, Father David Howard; a niece and her spouse, Becky and Dwayne Messer; a great-niece, Tammy; and a great-nephew, Johnny.
