OBITUARIES Doug Blakeman Douglas “Doug” Blakeman of Keystone Heights, Fla. and formerly of Yellow Springs, Ohio, died Friday, Oct. 12, in a motorcycle accident. He was 48. He was born Aug. 5, 1959. Doug graduated from Yellow Springs High School (1977). Doug attended Ohio University and Jacksonville University. He was employed as a CAD engineer with CMC Joist Steel Manufacturing Company in Starke, Fla. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Blakeman. He is survived by his wife, Angelia Blakeman; and sons, Greg and Tanner Blakeman, all of Keystone Heights, Fla.; mother, Patsy Gardner of Dayton; stepfather, Michael Gardner of Shawnee Lake; brothers, Christopher and Michael; and sisters Tara and Renee. A funeral mass was held Oct. 16, St. William Catholic Church, Keystone Heights, Fla. Interment followed in Keystone Heights Cemetery. |
