OBITUARIES

Forrest Teterus

Forrest S. Teterus of Enon passed away Thursday, Dec. 21. He was 57.

He was born March 23, 1949, to Frank S. and Mary Jo (Smith) Teterus in St. Louis, Mo. He was the grandson of former Governor of Missouri Forrest Smith.

Forrest was an avid fisherman and reader. He was extremely outgoing, and loved baseball and movies. He was employed at Antioch College for 25 years, was a proud member of the United Electrical Workers Union and served on the union’s executive board. Forrest was a friend to everyone and everyone’s friend. Forrest was preceded in death by his father, Frank S. Teterus.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Jo Teterus; brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Patty Teterus of Conn.; sister and brother-in-law, Mildred Ann and Steve Havens of Ariz.; and nephews, Lars and Forrest Havens.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, Dec. 23, in the Jackson Lytle Williams Funeral Home, Yellow Springs. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 1950 Arlingate Lane, Columbus, Ohio 43228.
