Last Sunday, villagers took part in the 50th annual Yellow Springs Community Carol Sing at the United Methodist Church, led by Charles Hill. Participants included, clockwise from top, Mary and Ross Morgan, Angela Brintlinger and her daughter, Olivia Brintlinger-Conn, and Helen Dennis of Dayton, with her daughter Davina. The Carol Sing began in 1956, when then Antioch College music professor Walter Anderson, assisted by accompanist Jean Putnam, lead the candlelit event. Cookies and cocoa followed.
