With nervous gusto, dozens of first, second and third grade students at Mills Lawn School auditioned on Monday, Oct. 23, for the school’s 2007 spring musical “Aladdin.” Ana Smith (below) stood in front of the casting committee of teachers and director Becky Brunsman to try her voice at a few lines from the genie’s song, “Friend Like Me,” and Tess Zernzach ended her dance number with a flourish.
