Alexis Peterson

Alexis S. Peterson of Springfield died early Sunday morning in Springfield. He was 21.

He was born Sept. 23, 1985, in Springfield, a son of Michael H. and Roxanne (Salser) Peterson.

Alexis was a graduate of Greenon High School and JVS and was employed at CiCi’s Pizza Restaurant. He enjoyed special times with his family and special friends.

Alexis was preceded in death by his grandfather, Howard Peterson; and a niece, Brittany Dawn Jenkins.

He is survived by his parents; a brother, Dustin R. Jenkins, his fiancée, Kelli Cochran, his godfather, Orlando Seagraves; grandparents, Paul and Ann Salser and Charlotte Peterson-Bent; uncle and aunts, David and Brooke Peterson and Carole George-Cox; and a number of other relatives and friends, including special friends, Becky, Alan and Jon.

Family and close friends will celebrate his life, concluding with his burial in the family cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home, Springfield.
