OBITUARIES Frances E. Dorn Frances E. Dorn of Yellow Springs died July 25. She was 84. Frances was born Oct. 28, 1921, to John A. and Ethel (Dye) Mehalic in Morgantown, W.Va. She was a long time resident of Trotwood, Ohio. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Dorn; parents; and children, Juliemarie and Philip Dorn. She is survived by her children and their partners, Michael J. and Kelly Dorn of Morgantown, W. Va., Becki L. Davis and Jeff Neal of Yellow Springs, Debra K. Berry and Thomas Davis of Miamisburg, Ohio, and Steven J. and Tina L. Dorn of Yellow Springs; grandchildren, Philip Dorn, James Paul Davis, Ryan Berry USN, Colin Berry, James W. Dorn, and Chris J. Dorn; four great grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Sally Piatt and family of Trotwood, Ohio. A mass of Christian burial was held Saturday July 29, in the St. Paul Catholic Church, Yellow Springs, with interment following at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Yellow Springs Senior Center, 227 Xenia Avenue, Yellow Springs, Ohio 45387. Micki Adams memorial A celebration of the life of Micki Adams will be held on Sunday, Aug. 13, at 2 p.m., at the Unitarian Fellowship in Goes Station. Attendees may bring games to play and a potluck dish to share. Sodas will be provided. Stories about Micki may be shared, and there will also be some surprises in store. Well-known as a professional psychic, Adams died Monday, May 15, at Greene Memorial Hospital, following a brief illness. RSVP to DejaVu1182@aol.com or to 767-9393 by Aug. 6.
