This week in the print edition of the News:
‘Yellow Springs Community Directory’

The 2006 Yellow Springs Community Directory, the “red phone book” published annually by the Yellow Springs News, is now available.

Subscribers in Yellow Springs and Greene County are receiving a free copy of the phone book in this issue of the News.

The directory is also available this week in copies of the News sold at newsstands in Yellow Springs.

This year’s Community Directory is the largest ever. It contains 411 listings of businesses and nonprofit organizations, 154 display ads and more than 2,020 residential listings.

The red book was first published in 1989. This year the News renamed the phone book the Yellow Springs Community Directory, in recognition of the way the book has come to reflect our community.

Additional copies of the directory can be purchased at the News office, 253 Xenia Avenue, for $1 through next Wednesday, April 5.

After this date, the phone book will be available for $3.50 at the News office throughout the rest of the year.

For out-of-town readers
Out-of-town subscribers may pick up one free copy of the phone book at the News office.

To receive a copy of the directory in the mail, send $6, by check, to the Yellow Springs News, P.O. Box 187, Yellow Springs, Ohio 45387-0187.
