OBITUARIES Ben F. Johnson Ben F. Johnson of Yellow Springs died Friday, Sept. 9, in Community Hospital. He was 80. He was born in Springfield on July 13, 1925. He is survived by his wife, Opal; his children and their spouses, Steve and Debbie Johnson of South Charleston, Ben C. and Lorraine Johnson of Raeford, N.C., Geneva and George Oliver of Huber Heights and Joyce and Ed Slagle of Springfield; grandchildren, Jeff and Erin Williams of New Carlisle, Nick Williams of Fairborn, Donald Brian and Kayla Johnson of South Charleston and Carolyn and Amanda Johnson of Raeford, N.C.; a step-grandson, Jon Slagle; and two great-grandchildren, Brooke and Troy Williams ofNew Carlisle. Private services will be held at the convenience of the families. Littleton & Rue Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
