Yellow Springs Fall Street Fair Oct. 9

The Yellow Springs Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the fall Street Fair on Saturday, Oct. 9, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Several streets in the downtown area will be closed to vehicles from 6 a.m. to approximately 7:30 p.m.: Xenia Avenue from Limestone to Corry; Walnut from Limestone to Elm; Glen Street from Kieth’s Alley to Xenia; Short Street; and Corry from Xenia to Dayton.

The post office will be open during its regular Saturday hours but will be accessible only by foot. Normal mail delivery will be maintained.

Pets are not permitted at Street Fair. For more information, call the Chamber office, 767-2688.

Live music will begin at noon and continue during the day at the Mills Lawn School grounds.The schedule is as follows:

Hipperoos, noon–1 p.m.
Wild Boys Breed, 1–2
Funky Fuzz, 2–3
Ohio Guitar Trio, 3–4
Corky’s Old Rock ’n’ Roll Revival, 4–5.

The Yellow Springs Arts Council will sponsor an Artists Miniature Golf Course at Street Fair. The course will be set up in the front lawn of Mills Lawn School. It will cost $1 to play the course.
